It’s been a great start to 2022 here at More? with the news that we’ve been shortlisted for a top award.
Our café at the Mill Yard is a finalist for the Café of the Year category at the new Cumbria Food Awards.
We’ve been fortunate to win awards before and it’s always great to be recognised. It helps reassure us that we’re doing things well and providing great food and service for our customers.
We’re looking forward to meeting the other finalists and celebrating at the awards dinner at Kendal College very soon. Thanks to everyone for your support.
The last year had plenty of challenges but thanks to our brilliant customers we’ve had lots of good times too. Launching More? Dough pizzas has been fantastic and we love firing up the oven and serving some amazing toppings to accompany our signature chewy, tangy and crisp sourdough bases.
Being part of the Channel 4 documentary series, A Lake District Farm Shop, was great fun and we’ve received lots of positive comments about the programme. Our founder and head baker Patrick was back on TV for a Christmas special, showing what it takes to produce our award-winning damson mince pies.
We love coming up with recipes and dishes that we think you’ll enjoy. We’ll be launching a new menu very soon, so watch this space.
